The Asteroids Galaxy Tour: indie rock with funky flair

Danish pop duo The Asteroids Galaxy Tour make a futuristic indie rock statement with their recently released "Out of Frequency." The 14-track album flirts with various instruments to create eclectic grooves and unforgettable rhythms.

"Major" is constructed like a fine piece of art, with each bit of instrumentation planned in accordance with Mette Lindberg's vocals. While Lindberg's voice shines with an avant-garde style, the brass instruments support the song with crescendos and an unwavering tone.

"Out of Frequency" features a layered, synthesized sound. Lindberg's high notes cut through the many futuristic-esque noises to produce a song full of punch.

"Fantasy Friend Forever" is a spirited, upbeat tune that infects the ears with its catchy rhythm. It is reminiscent of Dee-Lite, and relies heavily on Lindberg's impressive vocal range.
